Specific prayer request – they are pulling her feeding tube and seeing if that will help her start drinking and eating. She has 6 hours from now to prove to them she does not need the tube. The doctors are thinking she will need the tube again, but I know my God is able and you guys will storm His throne with us.

Pray that she starts drink and eat! Pray that God’s miracle will continue to be spread through this staff by God doing something in her that makes us all declare His glory and not be able to explain it any other way, but that it was Him.

We have until 7:00 pm for her to drink something!!!! God is able.

INCREASE THE VOLUME!

The following is a post my wife, Amy Lou, sent out to her Bible study class. I ask her permission to share it with you because it sums up the start of our day:

If you have ever doubted God’s perfect timing, His sovereignty in the details of our lives, may your world be rocked by this study!! My family is on a journey of faith and we have invited as many of you along that wants to join AND THEN GOD opens His teachings on this topic through this very study, “Raw Faith” (chosen for us long before this journey together began) to guide and grow us. Each of us is on our own personal journey of faith and it is with “fellow faith-diggers” that I want to be!

One of the things that struck me today is that when people of faith suffer, God is giving a gift to the world. He is spreading His message of love and grace. I sit in awe daily of how a little two year old suffering in a hospital bed, is drawing others to Christ. We see her little two year old friends praying for her, quoting scripture over her, and encouraging her with posters and drawings and videos. We receive messages from friends and strangers alike sharing how their faith in miracles has been renewed. We are surrounded by opportunities to minister to other hurting families in the hospital and at the Ronald McDonald House and show the love of Christ. We have the watchful eyes of her caregivers, watching more than just Brynn’s healing, but our reaction to this struggle and acknowledgement of The Great Physician. Our faith is strengthened in that His promises hold true! He never fails us! God is at work in ways unseen as well and to Him we give all the glory! May He be richly honored and glorified in all of our trials and suffering! Praise you, Jesus!!!

Yes, the heart of a mother is a precious gift and I am so thankful to be called her husband and that she allowed me to share this.

Please pray specifically today that Brynn will start eating, her right hand and arm, and an opening at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta for rehab.

Keep increasing the volume!

Brynn has not had much visual improvement today, but it’s been a good day of rest and preparation as we gear up for rehab in the coming days.

I wanted to also take the time to acknowledge God for His wisdom and provisions. It would be very easy to not take the time to update with the little change, but I refuse to fall into that complacency. I believe now more than ever that the church’s biggest issue is complacency or apathy in our life. Today I came across Psalm 77 (take time to read) and was reminded that God has always been providing for His people.

May we be contiguous and sympathetic to everyone God has blessed us to do life with on this earth!

I love each of you and let’s refuse to ever be the same because of what God has allowed us to be a part of in Brynn’s miracle.

I am so excited to let you know what Amy Lou captured on video yesterday after my updated posted. I first want to thank you for all you are doing. Brynn’s miracle story is been spread throughout and God is using you guys. We are hearing stories of people being encouraged in their own adversity or difficult situations, people turning back to a God who has never stopped pursuing people, and simply watching God’s people do what they were created to do which is love God and love people. You have been amazing and my only frustration is that it took a desperate situation for me to truly realize how amazing you all are and just how loved Amy and I are in this world.

Unfortunately, that is how most of us work. It takes desperate situations for us to see how amazing God is and how His people can be used. I encourage each of you to stop today during lunch and do more than simply bless your food; but rather truly think about all your many blessings.

Today remember – “we are blessed.”

Concerning Brynn, please continue to pray! Specifically for her right hand/arm and for her to start eating.

Yesterday Amy took a video while I was doing the laundry and SHE IS MOVING HER RIGHT LEG! God is hearing you loudly and answering with “Yes I Will!” The therapist said, “If you did not have the video I would not have believed it!” Jehovah Rapah is so awesome.

Please pray for her lower left side of her brain, her right arm/hand, and her to start eating and drinking. Also pray that a room would open up at Children’s hospital of Atlanta, insurance would move quickly with approval, and that we would be transferring very soon.

God is so good! She passed her swallow test.

This is a huge step in God’s miracle in Brynn.

It’s been a good day and I asked you all to take some time and thank God for the miracle story He has given us over the last 8 days. Though there is plenty more to come, TODAY WE CELEBRATE!

May you find some true rest today as we have been totally consumed with Brynn. Though it is nowhere close to complete, it’s a great time to take a breath and recharge.

I pray Matthew 11:29 over you all, which lets us know that God is the giver of rest if we are willing to cast our burdens on Him and take His yoke upon us. His yoke provides comfort, healing, direction, and purpose.

So rest well my friends, for tomorrow we go back to battle to watch God complete His miracle in Brynn.

You all have been amazing and we love you back!

Take some time to rest, reflect, recap, and acknowledge our journey thus far and I will look forward to bringing more Godly news from Brynn’s story tomorrow.

She is progressing, but is still not showing much movement in her right side. It looks like we will be heading to Atlanta to go to Scottish Rite for rehab. They have not given us a timetable, but we are resting in God’s miracle.

SPECIFIC PRAYER: for Brynn’s swallow study around 1:00 pm today. This would allow her to be completely tube free and start to drink and eat.

Thank you guys so much for all you have been doing and I want to encourage you to not listen to man’s experiences when dealing with God’s situations. God has shown me that He is complete in everything we need. I believe now more than ever that we settle for less than God’s best for life, because we believe everyone else’s reality has to be ours. This is simply not true. I encourage you to pursue God with daily works and let Him establish your plans (Proverbs 16:3).

Love God more today, handle adversity with dependence on Him, and grow today!

I love you and keep increasing the volume to heaven!

I am so overwhelmed right now at how amazing God is and what He has done over the last seven days. I have been praying for each of you today and that God’s presence would be seen in your places of worship and in your life. I am so thankful for each of you and I have not been able to stop thanking Brynn’s Jehovah Rapah for your presence in Amy and I’s life.

I also want each of you to truly know that it is not time to stop, but rather pray more. God has such a desire to complete His Miracle in Brynn, but I want us to demonstrate our acknowledgement of His healing by perseverance to finish. Our world rarely remembers how we start, but they remember how we finish. My prayer is that we will continue to give God the glory and a GREAT FINISH!

Though it may be a ways away, FINISH WITH US!

Pray specifically for Brynn’s lower left part of brain, her to pass her swallow test tomorrow, and Brynn’s muscle control on her right side.

I love you each you! Increase the volume to heaven.

Brynn had a great day yesterday and the only way I can describe it is: “MIRACULOUS”. She is still showing little movement on her right side and we need to keep praying for her lower left side of her brain, but let me tell you what she did…

Yesterday Brynn was released from the PICU at 4:00pm and moved to her own room. I turned on the Alabama vs. Texas A&M football game because, despite the rest of the family being Tennessee fans Brynn has let it be known before her fall that: “me roll tide.” So as Brynn’s crib enters the room Alabama breaks a long run for their first TD and I told her; “look Brynn Alabama scored!” Then Brynn shocked us all with her first words after surgery; no they were not “daddy”, “mama”, or even “love you”. No, to my amazement her first words were “ME ROLL TIDE!” The fact that she showed memory, speech ability, and awareness sent the room into a celebration. God is not only her healer, but He does it in a way to give me a smile. GOD IS AMAZING!

Brynn still has a long earthly road a head, but God keeps putting Brynn on His heavenly short cuts. Please do not stop praying just because God is giving us signs of healing, but rather pray with endurance and expectation knowing God is going to fully restore Brynn and spread His story of healing; not just out of His love for Brynn, but also because of His love for you. He is pursuing you/us and wants you/us to know just how real and gracious He is. May you worship Him fully (physically, mentality, socially, emotionally, and spiritually) today. May He use you to lead out in your various churches today in a true unique living changing service, but most importantly may you be fully restored by God as well today (no matter what the situation).

I love you all so much and am praying for you and our churches today! Keep increasing the volume towards heaven and with a huge smile I say – “roll tide”

PS – if your in bed; get up and go celebrate God in worship today ?

Sorry for the late update, but we have been spending time with Brynn and it has been a HUGE encouragement to see her progression today! God is hearing us all loud and clear; and simply letting us all know He still performs miracles.

Brynn today is more alert, moving her lips and tongue, and following with her eyes much better. She is still missing some strength in her right side and has a long earthly road a head of her, but today has been a GREAT day.

Brynn’s new activity that God has given me today for absolute encouragement is an old game we played with all the girls prior to the fall. I would simply say first one to give daddy a kiss wins; and the girls would come flying from all over to win. I do that with Brynn and put my cheek by her lips and she gives me a smack kiss with her lips. The first time she did it I just about jumped out of my skin, the second time even Amy heard the smack of the kiss. ????????

God is so faithful! Though we are nowhere close to the end of this journey, it’s a step and we acknowledge God for what He has done and doing.

Thank you to everyone for all the prayers and encouragement. Please be encouraged by this post, BUT DO NOT STOP PRAYING! She is moving to her own room out of the PICU, continue to pray for the lower left part of her brain.

Thank you Jehovah Rapah for being her healer. Thank you for your people and the encouragement they have been to Amy and I. Thank you for using Brynn to be your messenger and a reminder of just how amazing, kind, gracious, and loving you are!

Our prayer is that you will continue to pray for Brynn’s complete healing, but please make sure to acknowledge God as the provider. Please worship tomorrow with a different attitude and effort because of what we are seeing – HE IS WORTHY! I wish we all could gather together and simply celebrate and tell God how much we love him.

Continue to increase the volume towards heaven, acknowledge God and give thanks, and for Brynn – “Roll Tide!”

Very specific request: we have seen a ct scan and know exactly the part of the brain that is either damaged or bruised (not medical terminology, but gives you the picture of the situation). All other concerns have been eliminated with the ct scan, but we are now praying for the lower left half of her brain. They do not know if it is permanently damaged or temporary bruising! We are now praying for it to be temporary bruising with no long term effects. God has done so many miraculous things to this point and eliminated many threats and concerns. Join with us in praying over Brynn’s lower left part of her brain.

She is out of the woods concerning life or death, but she still has a very long earthly road ahead; but God has been paving heavenly roads of progress. “Do not come if you need roads. For the men who join me must be about building roads not traveling them.”

In case you have not been keeping up with Brynn since Sunday, I want you to know that GOD HAS ALREADY PREFORMED A MIRACLE, and now He is just showing us how complete and detailed He is about His love for Brynn and His people. Doctors are concerned, but hopeful. We are human parents, passionately pursuing God and finding Him so much a head of our (all of us) prayers! Jehovah – YHWH is able and we give Him the praise.

Brynn is still not very alert YET, lacking some movement, but she is progressing! It looks to be a slow process and we still do not know many things, but we will rest in THE ONE that does.

May your weekend be great and build up to an amazing worship service to celebrate what God has done not only in Brynn, but all of us.

​Please keep the volume increasing towards heaven, keep the encouragement coming, and know that you guys have absolutely been used by God to be His strength to Amy & I.

I look forward to your stories, His complete miracle in Brynn, and your complete story in Christ because what we are seeing. It’s only the beginning, but the completion is coming!
